Volt E-M Westminster Power Supply

A Westminster type power supply, specifically designed for electromagnetic experiments which require high currents at low voltage. The unit outputs 2.5V a.c. / 1.5V d.c. at up to 16A a.c. or d.c. current. Output is via 4mm sockets, which accept standard 4mm plugs, shrouded plugs or spring loaded shrouded plugs. The unit is totally short circuit proof – the transformer is specially designed to withstand prolonged short circuits - and is constructed of powder coated Zintec steel. Mains power input is via an integral IEC connector, with mains fuse, an on/off switch and inclusive lead. 4 of these units will fit into a Gratnells tray.
