The Quickfit QWS4 water still has been developed by the makers of Pyrex glassware, to offer a UK manufactured alternative to the Merit water still. Using Pyrex glass, the QWS4 produces up to 4 litres of pyrogen-free single distilled water per hour, is reliable and easy to use, produces high-quality distillate and is easy to clean (no glass dismantling required). Operation of the unit is safe, with the heating element having two built-in safety thermostats. The working life of the heating element significantly depends on the feed water quality and, consequently, how frequently the water still is cleaned and maintained. Can be wall or bench mounted. Supplied with Instruction/Operating Manual. Output capacity up to 4 litres/hour Pyrex glass boiler & condenser 3kW Chromium plated heating element 3 year warranty (1 year only for heating element) Please note: Like most water stills, the QWS4 is classified as �permanently connected equipment�. This means it should be connected directly (hard wired) to an electricity supply fitted with a 30mA RCD circuit breaker, and as such is supplied without a mains plug.
