Electrophoresis Buffer Solution (50x TAE)

This 50-fold concentrated Tris-Acetate EDTA buffer (TAE), pH 7.8-8.0, has been optimised for agarose gel electrophoresis of nucleic acids. One volume of buffer is added to every 49 volumes of distilled or deionised water to prepare 1x working electrophoresis buffer. Concentrated liquid Blend for 5 litres. Store at room temperature.
