The KERN OBL 127 is a premium binocular microscope a step up from a standard teaching microscope. Its infinity-corrected optical system and 4 E-Plan objectives deliver clear, flat and consistently focused images across the field of view, with a total maximum magnification of 1000x, making it particularly suitable for demanding practical work and advanced microscopy teaching.

Advanced Optics for Education

Infinity E-Plan optics with controlled Koehler illumination allows students to observe specimens with improved flatness, contrast and illumination uniformity. The pre-centred condenser simplifies adjustment, making these benefits accessible within structured teaching sessions.

The infinity optical platform also supports future expansion. Compatible accessories include alternative eyepieces and objectives, colour filters, darkfield and polarising equipment, phase contrast kits and fluorescence units, allowing the microscope to develop alongside more advanced courses and departmental requirements.
