The Labexpert Chemical & Equipment Stock Control Software (V4.0) ensures that you have accurate records of all your chemicals & equipment. You know where they are stored and how much you have. The software is based around Microsoft Access, which makes it powerful yet simple to use and allows easy importing of existing information from MS Excel (for example). Features include a dynamic search facility, multi-user installation, site licence, optional barcode functionality and label printer connectivity.

The chemical database is pre-loaded with 530 commonly used chemicals, with all relevant data, storage and safety information. Every chemical, where applicable, has a link to the CLEAPSS Hazcard (CLEAPSS membership required). It allows accountability for chemicals used, registers quantities used in an academic year with date of last use for every chemical and includes a used-by date field and SYC field for chemicals on the Home Office Secure Your Chemicals list. Now includes an improved search and find function and report builders.

The equipment database, designed specifically for schools and colleges, has built-in reports for all science equipment or individual departments (physics, chemistry, biology and lower school). This system will ensure you know where your equipment is stored, how many of each you have, how much they cost, and even what they look like! The Portable Appliance Testing information highlights items requiring PAT testing and indicates next test date. Now includes a great new 'rapid stock take' function.

The bar code labels are high quality polyester scratch proof and acid resistant labels which can also be personalised. The USB Laser barcode scanner is ideal for fast, efficient and reliable results. PLEASE NOTE: a thermal transfer label printer is required if labels are to be printed (e.g. Brother QL-800).
