Tech Line LED Battery Ray Box

Tech Line LED Battery Ray Box

The Eisco Tech Line LED Battery Ray Box provides single or triple light rays for classroom optics investigations. Powered by AA batteries or USB-C, it offers flexible setup for student practicals and teacher demonstrations covering reflection, refraction and the behaviour of light through lenses.

Key Features

• Uniform white LED light source for ray tracing and optics experiments

• Reversible metallic slit card provides a choice of one or three rays

• Supplied plano-convex lens fits into moulded grooves to produce parallel rays

• Operates using two AA batteries for portable group work or a 5V USB-C supply for bench use

• Built-in storage bays keep the lens and slit card together between lessons

• Stackable, impact-resistant ABS housing for compact classroom storage

• Tamper-resistant battery compartment requires a tool to remove the batteries

The single-ray setting allows students to trace light paths and measure angles of incidence, reflection and refraction. Three parallel rays help demonstrate how converging and diverging lenses change the direction of light. Suitable optical blocks, lenses and mirrors are required for these investigations and are sold separately.

Included Components

Supplied with the ray box, reversible single/triple metallic slit card, plano-convex lens and instruction manual.

Batteries and USB-C cable are not included.
