Lascells Bi-Metal Strip

This high quality Bi-Metal Strip, from Lascells, consists of a 220 × 18 × 1 mm bimetallic strip mounted on a wooden handle. Two different metals are bonded together in the strip, and when gently heated the strip starts to bend into a pronounced curve - demonstrating that different metals expand by different amounts.
