The Optika B-155R-PL features Plan objectives and Optika's exclusive X-LED illumination, providing powerful and uniform illumination of the specimen, with a constant pure white colour temperature at all intensity levels, giving unmatched colour fidelity and brightness of the slide image.

the B-155R-PL comes with X100 objective as standard which can be used with water (as well as oil) for high magnification viewing. this means a cleaner lens and les dirt attraction to the lens when used. If replacing oil immersion with water Optika quote an up to 90% image quality which is suitable for any level of educational use.
