A = Should be stored in a fridge at 2 - 4oC. Most bacteria, if stored properly, will keep for a minimum of 2 weeks and probably up to 4 weeks. Some, e.g. E. coli will keep longer - approx. 1 - 3 months. To keep bacteria for longer, sub-culture regularly & incubate for 12 hours or so.
