SARS-CoV-2 is a novel coronavirus that has caused a worldwide outbreak of respiratory disease beginning in 2019. In this simulated medical test, Students learn about the characteristics of coronaviruses and will use electrophoresis to analyze simulated RT-PCR samples and detect the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus from patients with symptoms of COVID-19.

Kit includes:

• Instructions
• Ready-to-Load™ DNA samples for 24 gels.

All you need:

• Electrophoresis apparatus & power supply
• Agarose powder
• Buffer solution
• Automatic micropipet (5-50ul) and tips
• Balance, microwave or hot plate
• White light visualization system.

Storage:

Stable at room temperature, although it is recommended to store DNA samples in the Freezer (-20°C).
